Christopher Duncan
A great career must begin somewhere, and the same applies to Christopher’s.
Christopher Duncan was born on 22nd April1975 in Jamaica West Indies, in the Parish of Spanish Town. Christopher was an athlete by birth. He had an athletic body, and he was active in sports from his childhood.
During his childhood, he always dreamed big. In search of his dreams, he often visited Caymans Park when he was a young boy. It was his dream to learn new things that drove him to visit the track often, as he had a thirst for knowledge. The passion he felt led him in the right direction, and he soon became friends with grooms, jockeys, and trainers.
He wanted to become a Jockey from his childhood, but his dreams were shattered when he came to understand he would be too tall, and so he would outgrow a saddle. But he didn’t stop there it became his motivation to be a part of the Horse Racing Industry.
Christopher Duncan as a child always sloved participating in sports and athletic events. He enjoyed running and made it his passion. He ended up being the top track and field athlete in his Junior High School (MacFarland) and Senior Year in High School (Theodore Roosevelt) both in Washington DC. He represented his institutions both at the state and national level. He was a skilled athlete and has won many medals throughout his years in Junior High and High school.
Christopher Duncan graduated from his high school in 1993 and went on to Norfolk State University Virginia on a full track & field scholarship in 1994. He enjoyed a successful career as an athlete. In 1996, he ran the anchor leg of the 4X100 team which won the championship of America at the Penn Relays. Not only that but he also ran the 4X200 Penn Relays with a record of 1:21.80.
During his years at university, he never gave up on his passion for horse racing. He kept visiting the tracks often. Although he loved been a track and field athlete and was successful at it,he longed to be in horse racing. He started getting more involved by starting out as a Thoroughbred Racehorse owner through this way he became very active learning more about horse racing and what it takes to become a Racehorse Trainer eventually he transitioned to a Racehorse Trainer. This is when he started implementing his knowledge of Track and field training into training of his horses. This Technique of training afforded him victories and so as a New Trainer his name became known in the horseracing community.

His book is empowering others to be open and have a new concept of relearning and healing, which in turn will help you to create your own definition of success and reach your goals.

Christopher Duncan is a familyman his wife Marilyn Duncan, sons Criel and Uriel Duncan,daughters Chananjah, Chananyah, Ariel, Aziel Duncan. Through all aspect of his life, he finds balance within his family, training and studying daily for continued growth.
